Families tend to take each other for granted. In too many situations, parents, children and siblings say things to each other that might earn them a punch in the nose from a stranger. In most families, rude or inappropriate comments may not result in a bloody nose, but the verbal dispute that ensues can be damaging to the family, and embarrassing and sometimes entertaining, to the neighbors.

I’m 16 and my step sexually abused me, i told my mom and she didn’t believe me.But my moms now in jail and i dont want to live with him cus he has my custody…if i decide to go to foster care and talk to someone and ask them to let me stay with my mothers friend which is a really good person can i decide to go live with them or they will have to adopt me?

My ex is currently under investigation for molesting my first child (from another father). We moved to another state and I am 31 weeks pregnant. I feel like putting the unborn child up for adoption would be in the best interest of all children involved (it would sever ties with this person for life). Because of legal petitions that have already been filed, I am unable to put the baby up for adoption. I am stuck with no options. Help!
