According to Chapter 26 of the Texas Education Code §4.001, “Parents will be full partners with educators in the education of their children (Walsh, Kemerer, & Maniotis, 2007). The state cannot require all students to…

Right now, a lot of states, my own included, either have had or do currently have legislation being talked about to open adoption records to adult adoptees.
Kansas and Alaska never closed birth records for adoptees – they were always available. Now, Maine, New Hampshire, Delaware, Alabama, Tennessee and Oregon have opened the records to adult adoptees only.
Share your thoughts please.

I am 17 years old with Autism and I am going to be placed in a foster care system with no internet and probably no job opportunities.
Long story short, my parents think I act like a sexual offender (only because they caught me looking at porn) and they don’t want me in their house.
Is there any way I can live downtown by myself legally, or am I stuck until I’m 18? What are the runaway laws in Oregon? And lastly, does anyone have any tips on how to survive homelessness?
