Two years ago a little girl from Western Washington told her story about how she was ready to be adopted. Now that little girl is two years older and still waiting for an adoptive family.

I’m agonizing over whether and which kindergarten is best for my little girl. Are there alternatives to sending a child to kindergarten to ensure that she gets a good start for school?
I have a very flexible job for all but two days a week (I’m a university professor), however I don’t feel competent to take on the teaching role at this level.
My daughter also lives in a bi-lingual household, if that makes any difference to suggestions.

Supposedly, this little girl is only 4 years old and already being recruited by the U.S. National Team. She’ll probably hit her peak at 10 and retire at 11. (more…)

Hy husband, who is currently stationed in Germany, and I are going through a divorce. My husband now has a new girlfriend (has had for a long time now) who apparently has a “problem” with him having a child. He has expressed interest to me in signing away his rights to his daughter. He says that it is “too much to bear” being so far away from our little girl and that he would “never get to see her anyway”. By the way, that is code for “I want to be 22 without a kid and without a child support…
