My 11 year old daughter had a physical today, and 3 normal immunization shots. Within 5 minutes, at the counter where I was talking to the nurse, she fainted and seemed to seize up. (Eyes open and body locked up) The doctors told me this was common in an adolescent her age, after getting shots. They told me it was from her getting up too fast. It’s happened before this year, which I told them, and they brushed it off as dizziness.
I’m just wondering if this has happened to other children after receiving their immunizations?
Thanks in advance!!
