Question by ticktock: What are the costs of preschool in your area?
I’m not talking about daycare, but preschool.

I want my daughter to go to preschool this fall, before she starts kindergarten next year. I really think it will help her out and get her ready for kindergarten. Preschool is only a couple of hours a day, usually 2 or 3 days out of the week. Well, my husband is starting to freak out that it’s just going to cost too much for her to go. I think he’s being ridiculous, it’s not like we’re paying for college…

I didn’t start looking into the cost of child care until I became pregnant. Oh my GOD…its freakin’ expensive. I have a good job and all that, but I don’t see any possible way for me to live normally and pay for child care. I checked the dept. of social services in my state and I don’t qualify for assistance. I’m really starting to freak out. I have no family in the area to help me with child care. Are there any single moms out there that can tell me how its possible to afford child care?
