his home life sucks because his mom verbally abuses him about how thin he is, and then when he asks if he can have some food that she already cooked. she says no. there is a whole bunch of other shit she does, but too much to explain. i just need a way on how he can be put into the foster care system and move in with me. my mom is okay with it as well. My Dad said that he was going to turn me over to the court system and I’d go to foster care or something. I am really scared and I’d like to know what would happen to me if he does do that. Do we have any rights to get custody any sooner than a foster family to gain custody? It’s really fustrating that we were not informed before the baby became endangered that we were not contacted, and once we found out where my sister was and contacted her case worker, they don’t seem to want to move very fast to place the baby with our family. Family sticks together, and we are fully capable of taking care of her as well.

How do you find someone in foster care?

So I’m 15 years of age and my boyfriend is in Foster care. I’m really concerned about his whereabouts. He is no longer in city limits. And I was wondering is there a way I could find him, by calling people, or is there a number in Columbus in which one of his relatives could call and find out where he is at, and see about getting custody.
