Parenting-N-Families

Although I haven’t personally grown up without a father, I have many friends who have. I haven’t really talked about it with them, but I have thought about it a lot. Do you consider it to be selfish to have a child knowing that the there will not be a father or father-figure? I’m not sure how I feel about. Your thoughts?

Was it FATHER, a STEP FATHER, a UNCLE, a BOYFRIEND of your MOTHER, or some OTHER MALE?

I have no father so it was my Uncle Paul who took over being the male who raised me. My Uncle Paul is my father figure.
