I’ve read that television and video/computer games are too passive for a child’s active mind. That physical activity is more appropriate for them as their brain is developing.
But I think most things are acceptible in moderation, when closely monitored.
I strongly feel that children should not view or play violent games. They are impressionable and they can become desensitized to violence that isn’t a natural part of the real world. We don’t go around viewing gory murders or killing others, why in the world would we let our children entertain themselves this way? It seems very unnatural…

My 6 year old cousin is falling FAR behind in his schooling. But he loves games!
