In what ways can a teacher legally discipline a child?

Question by : In what ways can a teacher legally discipline a child?
I had heard that in Ontario, under the Education Act, a teacher can discipline a child in the same way that a parent can. I don’t know if that’s true but that’s why I am asking the question…

So I want to know if it is true, and then if yes, what does it mean by the ways that a parent can discipline the child, or if no. then in what ways can the teacher discipline the child??

Thank you.

It’s just natural for a parent to be able to teach their own child…

How Should Educators Be Trained To Teach Special Needs Children?

Educating special needs students can be a challenging yet rewarding experience. The degree of disability of each student varies but could include severe difficulties such as dyslexia, autism, and multiple disabilities.
