My name is Julie Cottle from NaturalTransition.com and these are my Top 10 tips for breastfeeding a newborn. There are many more suggestions available at my site.1. Make sure you are comfortable. Whether you choose to feed lying down or sitting up make sure you are comfortable and will be able to remain comfortable if you have to stay there for an extended period of time. Some mothers choose to sit in a rocking chair or up in bed with pillows behind the back.2. Make sure you are have some breastfeeding clothes that open at the front well enough to…

Child behavior programs can be very helpful in terms of changing inappropriate behaviors. If you feel like youâve had it up to here with your childâs attitude or behavior, then read this article in its entirety because there is a good solution.
If you’ve tried discipline and other means of trying to change behavior in your kid or teenager, then you might feel that nothing will ever change. If taking away privileges or penalizing your adolescent doesnât work and in some cases, makes him even more rebellious, then you have an issue that you need to attend to immediately. This…

Today my mom and i had a physical fight where she hit me in my head, a broom stick and i have bruises on my body now.
So I really can’t hold it in anymore. I’m afraid of her and what’s going to happen to me. So if I tell the school counselor do you have any idea what will happen to me? Will life for me be harder if I go to Foster care. I don’t know what to do and I’m really scared and nervous.
I’m only 15 and can’t stay with any friends. At least…

Bottom line. An only child. Lives with mom and dad. Mom stays home. Child attends rural public school. They live out in country. My concerns. I see a manipulative development through guilt towards friends and parents. A vengeful side has developed where sabatoge is her answer when she doesn’t get her way. When I asked her about it, I saw no remorse when asking exploring questions. She says she can’t help herself. Over the past five years she has witnessed her parents getting physical about half a dozen times. Argueing is pretty constant between parents. Child is often put in…

I have a fascination in Psycology But being that I’m recently married I know that I dont want to go to a University for years so my other option is to be a counselor. I love helping people and giving them hope, I also love to study people and their behavior over certain things so I know I would love to be in this field the thing is I do not know what I need to do or what courses to take.
** Some one please help me ** Thanks-a-bunch

I am a camp counselor this summer and at this specific camp, each counselor for each different themed camp gets a schedule for each week. The only boxes on the schedule that are filled in for you are Lunch time, Pool time and Special activity time. All the other boxes for that day are blank and the counselor is in charge of picking what the children will do for the remaining hours of the day. I just need some suggestions of good games to play with the kids so i know i will not have a moment that i do…

It is better to take these children to a counselor, because the safest medication for adolescent depression is to not use drugs. set their attitude right. Get the teen to start talking, let them express their feelings and everything. Help them to vent their frustrations and anger in a healthy manner. Help them to see things in a new light. Let them know they have your support and they should talk to you about anything. Lots of talking and interaction will lift them up with no side-effects. Drugs may make the teen even more miserable. They will be thinking something…

I’m a camp counselor at a day camp for children entering first grade this year and I’m running out of ideas of games that I can play with them. Of course we play the classics- sharks and minnows, duck duck goose, ga-ga, etc., but I need more so that the kids don’t grow old of the games. Any help or a link to a website would be greatly appriciated.
