I know fifteen year olds are teenagers, or adolescents. But I’m confused. Sometimes we are called young adults, but yet we cannot call adults by their first name or vote, or become seriously invovled in a relationship without people saying were just “children”. Okay say your mother had 4 kids with her husband, but they divorce. 7 months later, shes dating a guy and he knocked her up with twins but he ends up cheating on her and doesnt pay child support. like he completely just abandons them!
but later on after awhile, the ex-husband and the wife gets back together and they raise the twins together. so what is the ex-husband to the twins? i know nto real dad but is it like biofoical dad or something? plz help!

I’m looking for a book which deals with a family who let their kids run wild and refuse to enforce discipline. Not sure if it’s fiction or fact. I’ve been told it’s a 1970s book and has a title similar to The Ice House. Any ideas or alternative suggestions? many thanks
