What Are The Cons And Pros Of Being A Psychiatrist For Children And Adolescents?

The pro is that it is an incredibly lucrative profession (and, of course, you get the satisfaction of making a difference in someone’s life). The cons are that the training is extremely long (college, medical school, general residency, psychiatric residency, juvenile psychiatric residency) and it can be emotionally wearing to deal with so many troubled young people.

The pros of being a psychiatrist are you get to help people with emotional stress and you make more money than most professions.
The cons are you spend most of your life listening to peoples problems, you wouldnot share their history, most of all you kill peoples sickness by pill but kill them by the bill.
