I think they know right away. The mother has already bonded with baby for 9 months. The baby knows her heartbeat and everything. Babies also recognize peoples voices. Usually the father talks to the baby in the womb and the baby knows who he is when it is born.

I think it develops even while the baby is in the womb.
the baby hears your voices and becomes used to them then after having the baby the parents have a certain scent to them that the baby recognizes.
just try to see your daughter alot more.
    good luck

Through interaction with the baby. You have to interact with her as much as possible to develop a bond. How much you spend with her and the quality will be ultimately up to you and the bond you create.

well the best way to bond is to spend time with them and interact with them but most babies know theyre parents when they are born they can remember the tones of your voice
    from inside the womb

I’m sorry you get to spend so little time with your baby but don’t worry just enjoy the time that you do spend with her and make the most of that time together and the bond will just grow stronger. Where you there for her birth? Generally babies grow attached very quickly and the bond between the 2 of you should be instant as I’m sure it was, why not try cutting down on the amount of work you do and spend more time with her instead this can only help your cause.

as long as you see her shell know who her daddy is
i beleive ( im not a doctor ) that the bond begins in the womb – she probally heard your voice during the pregnancy –
the reason we dont know who are real parents are when were adopted is because like grown people we forget things but i would think being around her every weekend is enough for her to know

bonds are things that happen in things like ducks and chickens, when the kid is old enough to talk tell her you are her daddy. There is no “bond” from the child to the parent, it is the other way around, all the baby cares about is being fed and taken care of.
