I have stopped breastfeeding from Feb. 08 and I am tryin to get him to breastfeed again. How can I produce milk again. What do I have to do?

Relactation is rebuilding a birth mother’s milk supply after it has been reduced or dried up.
Yes it is possible just start putting your baby on your breast and let him suck every 3 hours or get a pump and start pumping every 3 hours and milk will not come out for a week or so but it will begin to come out. Just have patience and you will be able to do this.I just began the relactation process myself and we are doing great.
Contact La Leche League, they can help you a lot with this. But it will be very difficult. The baby has been on a bottle for a long time and I don’t know how changing now will go over. Get some help and try it but don’t stop bottle feeding abruptly. He will still need all his milk until if and when you re-establish breast feeding. If it doesn’t work out don’t feel guilty or bad at all, as long as the baby is happy and well fed that’s more important then how it gets into him.
I believe that there are drugs that stimulate lactation. If possible, see a lactation consultant, or just ask your doctor.

You may want to see if he can latch on. He may not have an interest in nursing anymore.
you would need to stimulate youre brest its possble but you may not get as mutch milk I would go to a La Leche League meeting or talk to a lactionton professonal to get some help
