Requirements To Becoming A Kindergarten Teacher In California?

I would like to become a kindergarten teacher in California in a public school. However, I’m not sure about the requirements I need. I already made an appointment with my school counselor but I’m just curious as to know right now rather that have to wait a whole month for my appointment and miss signing up for some classes I can take this semester towards teaching.

you need a credential. This is graduate work – focus on obtaining your bachelors for now, but when you see your counselor – ask if your school has any blended programs for teachers-to-be.
