Michelle Obama believes that childhood obesity is a threat to national security, that needs to be acted on NOW!
But she sees nothing wrong with the abysmal education system that graduates students who have no reading comprehension or math skills.

You, my friend, have no earthly idea what Mrs. Obama thinks of our pubic schools. I do, because I’ve personally heard her talk about it. She is dismayed at the state of affairs, and disappointed that so many states are cutting funding for public schools – states like California – in a misguided effort to balance their budgets. Is it her or her husband’s fault? Of course not. It so happens that this economic downturn is a worldwide phenomenon – and to blame that on the Obamas or on liberals is simply the prattling of deranged people like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. You, friend, need to lighten up.
Government education. Our current school system teaches children to be lazy and to take the easy way out. Being lazy is what leads to obesity in most cases.
