Anyone Know Of Restaurants With Live Entertainment In Miami?
02/14
Will be celebrating my dad’s 50th birthday with a group of adults and two children ages 7 & 2. Would like to take him to a restaurant with live entertainment and/or fun vibe. What would you recommend & why?

I’d say your first pick should be Van Dyke’s on Lincoln Road. It’s a duplex that offers a comfortable atmosphere, with an approachable staff and acceptable prices. Parking on 17th st in the garage is relatively inexpensive, with a short walk to the restaurant. So far, These are all things that are extremely hard to come by on the beach. The first floor is mostly the dining area, which I guess serves continental cuisine, while the upstairs area is the bar/lounge. Another cool thing about it is, you don’t have to worry about being with the kids in the lounge area. There’s no bouncer or lines to get upstairs. They’re known for featuring more jazz/bossa nova local artists if you’re into that sort of thing.
Van Dike cafe is the best for live entertament, has a relaxing feel, and it’s cheap, but the two children will get bored. Why not try Lucky Strike a block away from Van Dike (right off lincoln and i think pennsylvania), it’s a bowling alley with good food, drink specials and alot of fun, and your kids will love it. Dave and Busters in Dolphin is another recommended place. Thanks
