Will home pregnancy tests still work a few months or ever all the way through the pregnancy?

Question by pnd: Will home pregnancy tests still work a few months or ever all the way through the pregnancy?
What I mean is, is what they are testing for only present in the first month or so of the pregnancy, or will they still work throughout the pregnancy or at least in the first half or so? Would pregnant women who were 2, 4, 7, 8, and 9 months pregnant get accurate results if they used a home pregnancy test? Thank you guys.

Do women think child birth is their most important contribution to society?

Question by Mike T: Do women think child birth is their most important contribution to society?
I see child birth come up all the time here. It seems to be the main thing women take pride in related to their contributions to society as a group.

So what about women who don’t have kids? What would they say?
Child birth is not always a good thing. Hitler had a mother.
