Question by timlover: I’m an english major on my way to obtaing my teaching cred. would a minor in child and adolescent be useful?
would it be a waste of time to have a minor in child and adolescent development? since im an english major who is going to obtain my credential to teach middle school. Would the minor in that category be useful to me in the classroom?

Rossini: Complete Piano Music, Vol. 3 (Sins of Old Age) (Album for Adolescent Children) Reviews

Rossini: Complete Piano Music, Vol. 3 (Sins of Old Age) (Album for Adolescent Children)

Italian pianist Alessandro Marangoni, praised by the media for is ‘beautiful legato touch and a keen sense of phrasing’, here presents the third in his series of Rossini’s Sins of Old Age with the Album for Adolescent Children. From the pious First Communion and the lilting barcarolle of The Lagoon of Venice to the exotic Moorish Prelude and Rossini’s Mendelssohnian tribute to his favourite food, Ah! The Peas!, this is indeed delectable piano music. Volumes 1 (8.570590-91) and 2 (8.570766) are also available.

What kind of issues do child and adolescent psychiatrists deal with?

Question by Gracelynn: What kind of issues do child and adolescent psychiatrists deal with?
I was just wondering, if this is what I want to do with my life, what kind of issues i would be dealing with everyday. I know that I would deal with children that have OCD, ADHD, have been abused, have eating disorders, PTSD, etc., but what else would I deal with? I would really appreciate an answer from someone who is a child and adolescent psychiatrist, but all input is appreciated!

Adolescent: Double standards?

Tonight I was wanting to go to the movies by myself, & meet w/ friends later. So I ask my dad and he just tells me no, so I kinda keep on pushing asking him why. He basically tells me no, because I’m a girl. So I go on to tell him it shouldn’t matter if I’m a girl, I’m 16 & old enough to take care of myself for at least three and a half hours. So he tells me “Your not going unless your brother’s going”, who just happens to be 14. My mom was siding with me…

Why do people have to be douchebags and delete harmless questions?

Half of the retarded questions stay up, bost most of the joking questions get deleted in less than five minutes. It’s not like it’s hurting you! Troll answers I can see being deleted, but why the questions? If you’re going around deleting questions think to yourselves, ‘Are my questions about raising my adolescent child?’ If not, you have NO reason to delete them.
Also, if it’s a joking question trolls don’t want you to answer like this:

Answerer 1: Troll.
Answerer 2: They see you trollin’ they hatin!

IT’S NOT ORIGINAL. It was funny the first time…
