Training collars are meant only to be used during training sessions, and when used properly, no harm is caused. They are actually safer than choke chains and cannot choke entirely and damage the trachea and throat like choke chains do.

I love these commercials but I did notice Baley is wearing the most horrible collars you can get, with pins on the insidel. I’ve worked at the shelter and I’ve seen many times what these things can do. First thing we did was throwing those collars out.
